Just think…no measuring tape, no drill, no screws or drywall anchors to agonize over...no pesky “stud” finder, and no one you have to call in the morning! When I moved into my new rental apartment in the city, I dreaded the idea of having to install all of the curtain rods and hardware myself in a home that is still transitional.
Here’s some great news. Those wobbly, thin adjustable curtain tension rods of the not-so-distant past are now new and improved and available in great finishes and colors. They’re strong enough to hold heavy curtain panels.
I was thrilled when I recently found the IN-TENSION curtain rods at
bedbathandbeyond.com
They are really substantial in weight which I love,
¾” in diameter, and are priced pretty well starting at $24.99 for a rod that fits an 18”-30” window. I bought mine in black to match my décor but they come in pewter, bronze and white.
